The MGPN board and staff, together with 55 of its members and partners, successfully conducted its AGM on Tuesday the 9th of November -assembling at University House to hear from Dr Emil Djakic, Chair of the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN).
Dr Djakic updated the audience on a range of developments surrounding the health reform process, particularly around the issues of Medicare Locals and Divisions of General Practice.
Dr Angela Rutherford who has impressively and ably served on the MGPN Board over the past 4 years in a variety of roles including Chair for the past 2 years announced her retirement.
Ms Hogan is one of two non GP members on the MGPN Board will be taking up the role of MGPN Chair and has a long credentialed history across the Health Sector including experience in the community health sector, CEO in the hospital sector and currently holds a range of board positions across Primary Health.
The Melbourne General Practice Network takes this opportunity to thank Dr Rutherford for her commitment, passion and leadership and looks forward to working with Ms Hogan as it moves into the phase of the health reform process.
