MGPN would like to congratulate Collins St Medical Centre on receiving the AGPAL Quality Innovation Award 2009, for its work introducing an innovative solution to improve quality and safety for their patients and/or the practice team.
The QIP AGPAL Quality in Practice Awards 2009, were recently announced at the QIP/AGPAL Quality around the World conference on Friday, 21 May.
The awards, announced in Melbourne on Friday 21 May 2010 during QIP and AGPAL's 5th International Conference in Health Care (Quality Around the World), recognise and reward outstanding general practices across Australia which have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to providing high quality health care.
Collins St Medical Centre are currently involved the in Australian Primary Care Collaborative Program (APCC) Program, using continuous quality improvement tools to improve their health systems.
