Three concurrent sessions:
- Introduction to Pumping – All your questions answered.
Presented by: Elizabeth Hutton, CCRN CDE. This session will include: pump therapy basics, advantages, disadvantages, costs, different pumps and real life “pumpers” to answer all of your questions.
- Advanced Pumping for adults – What you don’t know about pump therapy.
Presented by: Cheryl Steel, CDE. This session will include: pump features update, difficult foods and eating out; the latest in continuous blood glucose monitoring and more. Due to space restrictions in this session no guest places are available.
- New: Advanced Pumping for children and adolescents: What you and your parent don’t know about pump therapy.
Presented by: Adam Lamendola, RN CDE. This session will provide information specifically for children and teenagers, including: getting the most out of a pump; difficult foods, eating out, going to parties, and more. Due to space restrictions this session will be for the child and one parent or guardian. (Parents may attend without their child.)
