The Department of Health Immunisation Program has been advised that delivery of the free seasonal influenza vaccine for 2010 has been delayed.
As we are uncertain of the exact delivery date, we would recommend that Immunisation providers not book eligible clients in for the free seasonal influenza vaccine until further notice.
Please do not call the Immunisation Program. Advice will be updated regularly on the Immunisation Program website by accessing “What’s new? in the right hand column at: www.health.vic.gov.au/immunisation
In the interim please continue to offer the free Panvax® vaccine to everyone from 6 months of age.
