The TGA issued a statement on seasonal influenza vaccines that was posted on TGA's website on 10 March.
The purpose of the statement is to advise providers of influenza vaccines about the rationale for the approval and recommended use of the various influenza vaccines that are available for the 2011 influenza season. The information has been developed in conjunction with the Department of Health and Ageing and the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.
