Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) expects IMPLANON NXT to become available to replace IMPLANON (68mg etonogestrel) in June 2011.IMPLANON NXT will also be listed on the PBS.
MSD strongly recommends that you complete education and training prior to using the device.
If you have completed IMPLANON training in the past, there is a practical training session in your area which may be available to you (see details below). This option requires that you complete the online education modules in your own time PRIOR to attending the practical face-to-face training session.

Please register by the required date for the practical session. Places are limited.
If you have NOT completed IMPLANON training in the past MSD recommends you attend a 2 hour face-to-face training session that includes education plus practical training.
