Cancer Australia through the Cancer Service Network’s National Demonstration Program, (CanNET) has developed a resource( Medicare Summary Sheet) to facilitate the delivery of comprehensive cancer care.
The four page sheet summarises the available MBS items and their associated claim requirements.
Pages three and four have been designed to be used as a stand alone reference guide to assist health care providers involved in cancer multidisciplinary case conferencing to better utilise the reimbursement items.
