The NPS Pharmaceutical Decision Support (PDS) program is developing a prototype software tool that will (ultimately) allow GPs easy access to independent high quality knowledge resources to support decision-making during the patient consultation process. This demonstration project – Knowledge Linked Into Clinical Software - is an exploratory exercise, to determine the feasibility of the concept and/or direction of a larger project.
Participants will be asked to attend three x 2-hour meetings, in October-November 2008.
The first meeting will be held on Tuesday October 7th from 6pm-8pm at the NPS office in Collingwood. Participants will be reimbursed for time and travel costs to attend meetings in accordance with standard NPS sitting fees ($256 per meeting and associated travel costs). A light meal will be provided. If you are interested in participating in the project, or would like further information, please contact Dr James Reeve, Manager of the PDS program on 03 9412 5504 or by email: jreeve@nps.org.au.
