The Survey of High Impact Psychosis (SHIP) commenced in March 2010.
This is an Australia wide survey aiming to identify factors critical to recovery and factors associated with good outcomes in psychosis. In Melbourne, 500 people who have a diagnosis of psychosis will be interviewed. Some of these will be from the cities of Yarra, Hume and Moreland. If those interviewed consent, 2 brief questionnaires will then be sent to their nominated GP. GPs who complete and return both will be reimbursed $100 for their time.
If you are sent a survey by the SHIP survey team, it would be much appreciated if you would complete it. Go to www.psychiatry.uwa.edu.au/research/neru/survey for more information or alternatively, phone the St Vincent’s research team on 8415 0944 and/or the North West Area team on 9355 9827
