Almost 20% of referrals to our Outpatient Booking Unit are missing essential patient details such as contact details and date of birth. This delays the allocation of an appointment so please ensure you include this information for every referral to expedite this process. Also please include the patient’s Medicare number or mark as Medicare ineligible.
Although our services are State funded, Medicare ineligible patients are not funded for services at this hospital. If we are aware of this then we can discuss the options with your patient.
