Yarra Council will seek community feedback in coming months on a proposal for many outdoor areas including playgrounds and outdoor dining areas, amongst other places to be made smoke-free.
The council will also seek feedback from their Health Plan Advisory group of which MGPN is a member. Details of the proposal can be found at : http://www.yarracity.vic.gov.au/News/?ItemID=423 .
The next meeting of the Health Plan Advisory group is to be held in mid May, I would be interested in hearing from our members, particularly in the City of Yarra about their views on this proposal so I can present them to the meeting.
