Yarra Volunteer Event 2011

Yarra Volunteers – Love Your Work!
 Are you a volunteer? Or do you know someone who offers their time, skills or knowledge to help an individual or community group?
Volunteers make a vital contribution to our community, so Council is hosting a celebration on 12 May 2011 to recognise local volunteers and to say thanks.
Whether your contribution is big or small, Council is calling on all volunteers to join in the celebration by visiting www.yarracity.vic.gov.au/Community and registering their details.
At the Fitzroy Town Hall ceremony, volunteers will be presented with a certificate, commemorative pin, and the opportunity to share their experiences with other special people who donate their time to the community. Members of the community and local groups and organisations can register of behalf of volunteers too.
