For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to claim free medication as part of the Indigenous PIP payment, The Close the Gap annotation must be included on ATSI scripts. GPs can write this information on by hand, however many software programs enable this information to be included on the script automatically. (see BP FAQ article)
