EPC Medicare Item Number Letter Templates

A greater awareness about the Medicare EPC items has seen some GPs needing to respond to allied health service providers who send ineligible patients along to ‘get a TCA’.

GPV has drafted two letter templates which will be available on the GPV website in the coming weeks.

The first template letter informs the allied health service provider that the patient is not eligible for a TCA.
The second template letter is for patients who already have a TCA or whose TCA sessions are already fully committed.
The third template letter is for patients who already have a GPMP and are ineligible for a TCA.

Medical Director Templates: (Right click on link and select Save Target As... )

Genie Templates:

• patient is not eligible for a TCA
• patients who already have a TCA
